I can’t carry a tune to save my life. But it doesn’t stop me from trying, much to the dismay of anyone who may be in the car with me at the time. ;-) I’m talking about a different kind of harmony though…the internal kind. The harmony you feel when you are in alignment with your values, beliefs, purpose…your truth with a capital T.
Can you say that you are always in harmony with these things? I’ll be the first to admit that I cannot. But I’m getting there. Here are just a few questions to ask yourself to see if you’re in sync:
*Before attending a holiday gathering or party - am I attending this event because I feel like I “have” to or because it would bring me joy to do so?
*Upon waking up - How can I live in alignment with my values and beliefs today?
*Why do I go to work every day? (This is a big one)
*Where am I now in comparison to where I want to be?
There are many others you could explore, but this will give you a jumpstart.
In this season of holiday jingles, I encourage you to explore a different kind of tune…the kind that makes your heart sing.
